Relationships

What can I say? You either want one or you don't want one. It's very complicated. You like someone and yet somehow he's not on the same wavelength. That's just plain sad.

Complicated. That's definitely the word for it. When was the last time you could have a nice honest relationship without the expectations of being the sweetest girlfriend (or boyfriend if you're a guy).

You know what a relationship really should be? It should just be about a girl and a guy liking each other honestly and having no awkward silence at all. That special someone should be that person you can joke around and tell even you're most embarrassing accidents. LOL. He or she should also definitely be someone you're comfortable with. But most importantly, the relationship should never be about showers of gifts and luxury. Just pure sweet companionship.

Awww. Sweet L.O.V.E.

Food For Thought

Why is it always the same? Somehow or another we always can't decide what to eat. Sigh. Sometimes, it takes over an hour to decide where to have lunch. Maybe it's because there isn't much eateries that we can frequent without looking out for flies in the food.

Oh, did I mention about that one fateful incident where we found once-alive creatures in our food. One day, Meera and I decided to have lunch at Sempelang. So we unsuspectedly went to fill our plates with the dishes from the counter.

Then, we went to the table to dine. A few poke here and there into my chicken, I discovered a BIG, FAT FLY in the flaps of my Ayam Masak Kicap or chicken marinated in soya sauce in English. Ewww. Disgusting. But that's not it. Several seconds later, my dear friend made a discovery, too: a fat, grey caterpillar with bug eyes peeping at her from the leaves of her kailan. In other words, she found a dead creature in her veggies.

Alas, both of us weren't outspoken. We didn't even complain. Instead, we just smiled away and the waiter just asked us to order another. Can you believe that? Thinking back, we should have stamped our fists on the table and demanded for a refund.

Haha, anyways I should be going now. Need to decide what to eat and where to eat...

Assignments, Tests and 'Yamcha's with Friends.

Bloody hell. Life's been flying past me like a whirlwind. Plastered on my face are the Accounting and Economics notes for the upcoming tests this Friday. Pffft. And plus, I have all of my students' materials to worry about. These are the trials and tribulations of being a student-cum-tutor. Sigh. All I look forward to is when I get to hang out with my friends and 'yamcha' with them while sharing our latest gossip (for James, Meera and I), and listening to Rudolf cracking 'jokes'.

Let's hope that I can juggle them all, especially since the finals are coming. As a matter of fact, only two weeks left. Right now I'm in the lounge writing this, still unsure of what to do: correct the materials or study for the tests, both of which are firsts on my list of things to do.

So sleepy. We are always sleepy. What not with all the things we have to finish like the business letters, and in-class assignments. The other day, I was driving home and I almost fell asleep on the wheels. Awww, man. I really need to get enough sleep. But I can't. That's why I have decided to rent a place next year during my degree. Driving to and fro can be hassle.

Well, I'll stop writing now. I gotta do what's really important: study for the tests!

Good night.

Happy Birthday, Yee!

Let's see. How should I start today's post? Ahhh, easy.

Happy 19th birthday, Yee!

It wasn't as happening as I thought it would be, but it was ... commemorative. Hahaha. I don't know what else to say because there wasn't anything going on, except for the fact that I went to the toilet a dozen times.

I seriously don't know how to continue this. Hmmm, it should definitly be about Yee's birthday 'bash'. Okay, here we go. Meera's hostel - Multibake - Upperstar - XO - Upperstar - Donald's hostel. Now, let's put that into a sentence:

I stayed at Meera's hostel and got ready there, then went to Multibake to collect the cheesecake (yum!!!) and proceeded to Upperstar to drop off the cake, next went to XO for 2-hours of pool, then went back to Upperstar to celebrate, and ended the night at Donald's hostel. Phew. That was such a long sentence. I won't be surprised if Ms Maria said that there was multiple grammar errors. Hahaha.

Anyways, I'll ciao for now. It seems that Rudolf has an uncanny eye that can read the laptop screen even though it has been slanted inwards. Love you, fart.

Gotcha, Rudolf. If you ever read this.

Yee's birthday present: customised T-shirt.

Me blogging?

Holla!!! Figured I'd try my hand at blogging. See, I'm not actually one who consistently post things online due to my rather busy schedule, but I thought it would be nice to post something for else to see. Besides, I get to see how my writing changes over time.

Anyways, I'm chatting with my ex, Wayne, on Facebook. It's so nice to be in touch with him after a long time. He's a sweet guy and I was lucky to have known him. This is for you, Godfrey *wink, wink*.

So, I find myself in Meera's room with her roommate, Iqa. Again, it's nice to feel like you belong in a clique especially if you're currently single. Oh, how I wish I have someone. But when you put it really in prespective, being in a relationship may make your life more problematic and complicated.

I think I'll just go with the flow. Like Meera's dad said, "Studies come first. Your love will find you later eventually."

So, I'll put my pen down for now, or rather, I'll stop fussing with the keyboard and get down to real work like doing my English: writing a job application letter. Arghhh. So many work, yet so little time.
